What it does
Find out before you print it.
Most people find out a name is taken after the signage. We search the registers we can reach - the UK, the EU and the main markets beyond - for the name itself and for the parts of it, because a name is only free in the trades it actually sells in. You get what we found, in plain words, with our view of what it means and the date we formed it. If it is worth filing we prepare the specification and file it, and the dates that follow it live in your account rather than in somebody's inbox. One mark; filings quoted per class at the official fee plus our fee, never a margin dressed as a total.
